During July, the Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media department will host week-long Media Summer Camps for high school and middle school students. They will receive hands-on instruction and create their own projects in the fields of Web Design, Television, Video Game Design or Music Recording.

As a loyal Spartan, we are hoping you will consider donating to assist those students who cannot afford to attend. Every year, we receive letters from students whose parental hardships exclude their children from the Camp – this year will be especially difficult for families who have endured layoffs and extended unemployment.

You, however, can help these students to reach beyond an unproductive summer to give them the gift of learning through media interaction.

Although there are varying Sponsorship levels, each with their own rewards, we welcome any donation size. You may sponsor as a corporation or as an individual. Please see the attached sponsorship packages.

Sponsors one student for an overnight/residential camp stay. This includes the day camp of their choice, on-campus stay in a dorm for 5 nights (Sunday-Thursday nights), 3 meals per day, night activities.
